Video Blog

And the late hours of the night catch me again...

Lets begin the video blog review:

1. Through the eyes of a sculptor I had no idea how many sculptors it took to make one sculpture! I think its because i always assumed it was just one person who took a massive amount of time. Having seen the steps necessary to create a sculpture makes me appreciate those who take the time to make such a masterpiece. There's not enough patience in me to complete such a thing. In the Glass and Ceramic video the key concepts to me was the process of making glass, especially since it is apart of our everyday lives. Installation art surprised me the most mainly because its the last one i think of as art, i learned that there is no true definition of installation art.

2. The videos relate to the text like any other video, by adding that image necessary to understand what you are reading, that's my favorite part of it all. To watch a video is easier to understand the material than to read, just gives the learning experience that extra umph needed.

3. I usually like the films although sometimes difficult to sit through considering the length and work necessary to go along with it. In the readings i came across what is necessary to create a sculpture, in the video I saw those steps, visually.
