Drawing Hands

I. Drawing my hands was rather quick and easy. There wasn't any difficulty in reproducing the form, shadows or lines.

II. I chose to go with a HB pencil at first then used a dull 6B pencil. I've always had a preference for pencil, mainly because it isn't as messy and thick as charcoal. Although I do prefer charcoal when working on large projects that require a lot of shadowing because it is easier to smear.

III. I did not feel any great difference with switching hands because I am ambidextrous. My grandmother was ambidextrous and at a very very young age I realized that I am equally dominant in both hands. I am able to write with both hands, bat (in a baseball setting) with both hands, shoot pool and many other things.

IV. I do think my final drawings are successful. I liked the way it turned out.

V. I would consider using either hand for future artwork creations. It doesn't bother me at all to use either or.
